This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
The Black and White Photography is going well although the Darkroom has been quite heavily booked recently which means you have to get in early to get a spot. I'm still trying to find somewhere cheap where I can buy black and white film in bulk (and also the money to buy it with!). I have to date successfully processed four films which I'm quite chuffed about because not all of them were the same so had to mess with temperature, time etc. I'm still struggling a little getting the times right for prints. The contact sheets are always frustratingly inticing but trying to get the prints the same takes a while to figure out time, filters, aperature etc. At least I have become more proficient in the Darkroom and so spend less time messing around trying to remember all the steps.
Today I went to Auchnagarich Wildlife Centre which was a great opportunity to take some photographs of animals which are of course wonderfully interesting subjects and timing is of the essence. Luckily most of the animals were very friendly and obliging. The best part was the Hatchery where you were allowed to hold baby chicks and watch chicks coming out of their eggs. Frustratingly some of the enclosures had wire to small for the lens which meant that even pressing the lens right up to the fence resulted in the wire showing up on the pictures. I had to discard quite a few because of this. Even so I am quite happy with the ones that came out especially as it is the first time I have seriously tried to take pictures of wild animals.
I really appreciate it!
